Why does my hotspot no longer allow connection to the internet for my Amazon devise? The devise connects to the phone but says no internet connection. I live in a somewhat rural area, so the cellular connection is my only route to the internet. If the hotspot on my phone doesn’t work with anything but apple devices, I will simply switch to an android product.

I just googled use hotspot with Firestick and saw that people were having issues with it, but I didn't go too deep. I still recommend you contact Firestick who surely has seen this and might have a solution for their device. Have you tried to use your hotspot with anything else, like power an iPad or someone else's cell phone. If it works, it's not likely an issue with hotspot, but one with Firestick. Or as suggested, contact your cellular provider as they are the ones who provide the hotspot service to your phone.
I have been through the trouble shooting process with the firestick. It works fine with my neighbors jetpack hotspot (hotspot only device) but no iPhone of the five in my house work. It worked with the iPhones before the iOS 13 update. Do you have any links to the research you did. I wonder if it’s the same as I already found. This forum is my last resort. Thanks for replying.
P.S. My Android comment was directed at the powers that beat Apple.
I have done all you have suggested. Four of the five iPhones in our house fail to allow an internet connection, the one that does is the iPhone 5, which ironically is not updated with iOS 13 or higher. Maybe a coincidence but the fire stick hasn’t worked on my friends iPhone’s either. The fire stick works fine with our stand alone hotspot, and both of my neighbors non Apple phones. 🤷🏻♂️Oh well. I will keep digging. The time we waste on convenience is obscene isn’t it? Thanks for engaging me, I do appreciate it.

This is not a cellular provider (who you get your hot spot from) or Apple question. I did a little research and it appears the Firestick may be your issue. You need to reach out to them to see if they can provide help, since a Firestick is not an Apple product.
BTW., we are ALL users on this user to user only forum. It matters not at all to us if you think going to Android is the better choice for you. But chances are even an Android device might have an issue providing a hotspot to a Firestick.
