Set up square for both iphone and MacBook

I got the app on my iPhone for square to take payments but also want it on my MacBook. How do

I do this?

MacBook, macOS 10.15

If this is the app you are referring to, you don't as it is designed for iPhone and iPad, not Macbook

You can reach out to the developer of the app and ask them if they have any plans to bring this to Macbooks, but it's on them to do that.

I did figure that out but thanks. I have watched the tutorials and cannot seem to get the square to talk to my iPhone. It appears they are connected but when I put a card with a chip into the square reader nothing happens. It is charged. The tutorials aren't much help.
