I updated my iPad and now it seems to be stuck on some loop of the reboot screen

i recently updated my iPad and it is now stuck on a loop. I can’t seem to bring up the restore screen. My computer doesn’t even recognize it’s connected when I plugged them in. This also happened to my phone when I updated it. I was able to fix it eventually but I lost all of the data in the process, plus it took hours!

this is so painful!
