Is there any way to change how you access the control center on iPhone X and later? It is in the most hard to reach place having to swipe from the top right of the screen. I’d like to change it to come up when I swipe up from the bottom.

At this time, there is no other way to bring up control center other than what you have outlined in your post.

Apple won't make this change, because swiping from the bottom unlocks your iPhone.
