Scam Email re: Apple ID Receipt Attached from Casino

Has anyone received a scam email notifying you that your Apple ID was just used at a casino, with a receipt attachment? I did not open the receipt and would advise anyone else to not open any attachment they get associated with a suspicious email.

Good advice. Also here are a couple articles that can help

Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store

And

Phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony calls, and scams


You can also Report it as Phishing

Just scroll to the bottom of the Phishing article for those details.


Lastly

If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support
