I can’t buy Procreate in my iPad Air! Help

Hello, i have a problem with Procreate. When i try to buy it, it doesn’t let me buy it. It says i need to have iOS 13.2 or above. My iPad is 12.4.4 but i can’t update it anymore (There is no avaible updates) My model is an iPad Air A1474, i read that Procreate can run with a iOS 12 but mine doesn’t work. Is there a way to update it to 13.2 or buy an older version? Please, help! I’m sorry, this is my first Apple product, i would love a fast answer, thank you!

Procreate is no longer compatible with older iPads that run iOS 12.4.x or earlier.

Sorry.

Procreate is NOT the only sketching/drawing/painting app that is great on an iPad and some of the other sketching/drawing/painting apps may still be compatible with your iPad and iOS version.

Let me do a little research and I will give you a small list of great sketching/drawing/painting apps still compatible with your 2013, 1st gen iPad Air.

Procreate is NOT the end all, be all sketching drawing painting app!

Here is a handful great painting apps that are STILL compatible with your 1st gen iPad Air and iOS 12 and earlier.

ArtStudio Pro ( Procreate's DIRECT competitor )

ArtRage ( has the benefit of having both a Mac and PC versions compatible with the iOS/iPadOS version )

Autodesk Sketchbook ( Mac and PC versions )

Clip Studio Paint ( also, Mac and PC versions )

iBis Paint X Pro

Infinite Painter

Medibang Paint ( also Mac and PC versions )

Paintstorm Studio ( A really impressive painting app, too! On par with Procreate, too ! )

Tayasui Sketches Pro ( also a free Tayasui Sketches School version )

( A great and simple, easy to learn sketching and drawing app with some easy and decent painting tools. It is really meant more of a color sketchbook app, but I have done some pretty nice stuff in this app over the years! )

I use mostly Tayasui Sketches, ArtStudio Pro and occasionally Sketchbook and/or ArtRage.

All of these above have macOS and/or Windows PC equivalent versions.

Procreate Pocket is an iPhone sized app.

I will run on an iPad but it will just look like an enlarged iPhone app and not a native iPadOS app.

Why is every wannabe, new to iPad, artist fixated on just Procreate?

Procreate is not the ONLY good art app available for iPad.

Many sketching/drawing/painting apps I have listed have been with the iPad since the very first iPad in 2010.

These other art apps have improved greatly over the years!

Especially ArtStudio.

I, also, forgot to mention to look at ArtSet 4.
