Removing residual crap from System Info

I have a 2.5 year old Wacom Intous Pen & Touch graphics tablet; it worked great on. my old Late 2011 13" MacBook Pro. I couldn't get the touch function to work in Mojave (even with assistance from Wacom) & I always get the incredibly annoying dialog pop-up about Security settings not allowing my Mac to shut down properly. So after untold attempt to get it working, I'll just keep using on the old MacBook Pro and have decided to delete the Wacom software from my 2018 Mac mini. I have trashed the items in Applications, removed what I found in the Library >Application Support, I've tried to kill it in System Prefs. (Accessibility, Input Monitoring & Privacy), to no avail. The pop up continues to show up on restart & logging out & in, as well as the drivers remain in the System Report. How in the name of all that is holy, sane & rational, do I get this garbage out of my computer?

Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas appreciated.

Thanks for all of your assistance Kurt, sorry if I seemed harsh; but this has been a most vexing & annoying issue for months. After my initial post, I emailed Wacom & got additional info from them AND I discovered they had released updated drivers; so I decided to give one more try--well that was wacky, at one point my Mini locked me out & I had to do a hard re-boot, but then I was able to proceed with the install. And it worked! I was actually able to get into Security settings & allow the software to do what it does, Accessibility worked! I did a shutdown, and when I re-booted, the annoying pop up was NO MORE! So again a big thanks for your efforts. And apologies I was a bit of a poop.

The drivers work just fine in Catalina if you do what the OS says and allow it system access.

If you want to use your tablet, reinstall the latest drivers from Wacom. Open the System Preferences and click on Security & Privacy. Click on the Privacy tab. Click on the lock at the lower left and enter your admin password.

Generally, everything the drivers need access to are already listed under Accessibility and Input Monitoring. You just need to turn the check boxes on next to each. That tells the OS you consider them okay and it will stop asking. Restart the Mac after turning these on.

No problem, I do understand where you're coming from.

I installed the latest Wacom drivers in Catalina and followed the prompts to okay them in the System Preferences. Restarted and the OS complained again. Went back to the System Preferences and found some of the check boxes had gone back off on their own. Turned them back on. I had to keep doing this in order to use the tablet after each restart or startup.

Thought that also is exactly what you described. I had first installed the version I had, which was current at the time. Then about a week later, Wacom released a Catalina specific update. Problem solved. Turn on the check boxes and the stay on with the first try.
