can't delete partition

iMac refuses to delete this partition. don't know why, had windows 10 on It and the audio drivers weren't working so I removed it through bootcamp but the partition is still there and when I click on it on the boot menu I get a windows startup error.

You can not add the first partition space back to the second partition using Disk Utility. If it was the other way around, then you might be able add the second partition back to the first.

What you need to do now, is make a Time Machine backup or clone the data on the second partition to an external drive.

Then you can Reformat/Partition the drive back to one partition and Reinstall macOS using macOS Recovery, then Migrate from your Time Machine backup during the macOS setup or clone back from the external drive.
