Numeric Keyboard Problems

I have an older integrated keyboard on my Mac Pro (mid 2010). Today the numeric keypad on the right side of the keyboard stopped working. I'm running OS Mojave 10.14.6. I went through all my system preferences and set everything for the keyboard back to their default settings and restarted the computer. No results. There is a posting on Mac Support about resetting the NUM LOCK button but my keyboard does not have the key. Does anyone have suggestions?
