so i have downloaded a plug in and installed it to my computer however i cant find the plug ins. i always try searching for it after installation but it appears to be hidden. any suggestions?

Plug ins usually get installed in an apps Plugins folder, so do a search for 'Plug Ins' or do a search for '.vst'.

I think vst files are audio related so you could open your Applications folder find your Audio app

Control-click on it and press Show Package Contents, see if you can locate a plug ins folder.

Alternatively ask the developer of the app to see where the plug ins get installed to.

Let them know exactly what macOS you are running.
