Signal Issues

I experiencing an issue with my Phone 10XS which is a year & 1yr & 1mnth Old now.

It hasn’t seem to be able to pick up a signal & constantly searches. I have done the following:

  1. Rebooted the device
  2. Reset the network settings
  3. Changed from 4g to 3G
  4. Switched airplane mode on & off.

I purchased my device in another country & am now been told by my local apple representative that they can do nothing for me, I must take my device to the country where I purchased my device which sounds a little backwards to me for an organisation like Apple.

How can I see this is resolved ?

I have the same problem with my iPhone 7 Plus, 1 1/2 years old. It keeps losing contact with 4G and 3G. It has been tested by my service provider, but they couldn't work out the problem - it's not an antenna issue.

I have done all the things listed above, and have also

  • changed the sim card (twice)
  • done a complete restore of the phone

While my phone was being tested, I borrowed a phone, and the same problem started to appear on the borrowed phone! I got a new SIM card after that again, so it can't be the SIM card, but someone in the shop said there could be something wrong with my iCloud settings - as the loaned phone was also connected to my iCloud account. Does anyone have any ideas? Are there any apps that could cause this problem?

I have done countless resets, forced restarts, switched airplane mode on & off, etc. etc.

One strange thing is that I seem to lose the connection to 4G and 3G more in certain areas - in the centre of cities the connection is better. I don't know if this is just a coincidence, or if the signal could be weaker outside the city centre?

What I have is a similar issue with my iphone 10. Just a few months before turning 2 years. I did not update my phone for quite sometime, it was ios12 when it showed an error that a cellular update failed and it required my phone to update. I went to the nearest service provider, then what happened is that they updated my phone and still no service and still cellular update still failed. They advised that my phone must be restored but they are fearing that if my phone will still have an error, i will not be able to use it totally. I'm just sad that in less than 2 years i cant use my phone anymore. Any other solutions?
