Ipod 5 speaker not working, help?

My speaker isn’t working on my iPod touch 5th gen I’ve tried everything from resetting the phone to plugging in and unplugging headphones, but at the same time when I attempt to change the audio it says volume and not headphones can anyone help me or tell me the cost of fixing it

IPod Volume Can an IPod's volume be increased at a repair facility? My Ipod doesn't play loud enough when attached to bluetooth speakers or even attached to powered speakers. I just bought a sound touch powered speaker from Bose and cranked is a normal level. I like my music loud sometimes and the Ipod is maxed and it sucks! Any ideas? I have a classic with 14K songs
