Calls and texts from china

I’ve been receiving phone calls and texts from China. Repeatedly, daily, for many weeks. It started with telemarketing calls from Bank America, on my cell, and home phone, stating something about China, then continuing with a Chinese recording. Now I’m receiving warning emails from Apple, stating that my Apple ID is being used on a new MacBook, and I don’t own one. Plus I received an email from Google also stating that my email was being used. Please advise what I should do. All the hacking around the world is really scary, and I’d hate to fall victim to some of it. Thanks in advance for your help.

Check your device list to see if there is a device signed in that you don't recognize. You can remove the device using the steps in the article below. As a precaution, change your password.

You can also add 2 Factor Authentication to your account for more security. If the attempts continue, you might want to consider a name change.

Note the restrictions in the article.

Apple ID Name Change

I would also change the Gmail email password.

The texts and phone calls probably don't require any action by you. Just ignore them.
