GPS does not do turn by turn; Pokémon Go error 11

For the last year (maybe two) my GPS does not correctly work. I type in an address it will give me directions but does not provide turn by turn and I'm seemingly static despite traveling. The same error also occurs on Pokémon Go. Which is obviously related to this GPS issue. I have factory reset multiple times, all Apps are updated, I have scrolled through forums and never found an actual fix. I am fully up to date on OS on my iphoneX. I have turned on location services for my GPS and Pokémon Go. I have background refresh on for the apps as well.

Hey jpcatter,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you're running into some issues with Location Services in a few apps. I'd be glad to see what I can do to assist.

The first thing I'd check is that the date and time are set correctly. To check on that, go to Settings > General > Date & Time. Also, make sure that both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth remain on. Check for that in Settings > Wi-Fi and Settings > Bluetooth respectively.

If you have any sort of case or screen protector installed, try to use Location Services without anything attached. This includes the items mentioned and any battery packs or other accessories. Also make sure to test when you have a clear view of the sky for several minutes and while the device and you are stationary.
