iPhone Notes Data Loss(?)

So my wife has an iPhone 11 pro max and all of her

notes have been deleted for no obvious reason and

the typical means of recovery (recently deleted/recover notes)

does not work. Yesterday 1/18/2020 10:00PM all her notes were on the

device (approx. 50-80 notes) containing important personal

information that NEEDS to be recovered ASAP. As of 1/19/2020 3:00PM

all of her notes have literally vanished from the device and iCloud and

nobody can seem to find a trace. I have been trying to diagnose the issue on her behalf as she does not

consider herself tech savvy. I work at a Best Buy for the Computer/Apple

department. I have contacted my Apple Representative in the area, as well

as Tier 2 of Apple Support. Everyone assumes the issue is Data Loss. This

brings me to two questions. 1) Can you even perform Data Recovery on an iPhone

like you can with computer's? 2) IS IT even at all data loss or could there

potentially be another underlying issue???

Do you have a Mac synced to this Apple ID and use Time Machine?

If so, the folder with the Notes in it may be retrievable from there.

You may be able to restore the group.com.apple.notes folder located in your library.
