Apple watch beeps when its done charging

I have a 44mm Apple 5 watch. I charge it from a third party charging stand that charges my iPhone X and apple watch at the same time. After if is charged (usually in the early AM) it starts beeping and shows the time. It does this about every minute or less. Then the screen goes dark, only to reappear when it beeps again. Is there any way to stop the watch from beeping?
