I want to turn off the automatic paragraph numbering functionality in the Notes app on my iOS 13.3 iPhone 6s. Does anyone know how? It is really messing up notes I am making that involve comments on numbered clauses in a legal document.
Yes. I have figured out how to get to that point. What I can’t figure out is, once I am at the point which you have identified, what do I DO to turn it off? When I push on that numbers paragraph icon (second to left at bottom) it turns to a yellow colored box but highlighting it like that does nothing to turn of the functionality. It’s still automatically numbers. And I don’t know what I am suppose to do once I have that icon highlighted in that yellow box.
It sounds like the answer is on the bottom row of this photo. Turn off numbering there (second item from left).
Try clicking the “Body” box on the third row from the bottom.
