Free Apple TV for a year.

Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased an Apple iPhone and it came with Free Apple TV subscription for a year.

I accepted the offer and now receive the service via my Apple TV box, but I do not understand how the service is free?

All the movies and TV shows featured on Apple TV have an option to either BUY or RENT for a prescribed amount of money, so I'm not sure what settings need to be changed so its Free.

Any suggestions?

The subscription only provides access to Apple-original content, not movies or TV shows from other producers.
