iTunes not available in Catalina

I have several iPod nanos which I use to listen to audiobooks. If I

upgrade to iOS Catalina and lose iTunes, how can I download audiobooks onto my nanos

without iTunes. I know that i can sync an iPod Touch using Finder but the nanos do not use iOS
