NOT ALL USB-C CONNECTIONS ARE CREATED EQUAL! Does anyone know which MBPro models introduced "generation 2" 3.1 USB in their USB-C port?

Just because a device has an USB-C connector that doesn't imply that it supports USB 3.1 gen 2 and thus 10 Gbit/s of data transfer speed. It can also be USB 3.1 gen 1, which is basically USB 3.0, which is 5 Gbit/s.

SO... Does anyone know where I can find info on which MBPro models introduced "generation 2" 3.1 USB in their USB-C port? Everymac.com Apple etc. does not seem to be forthcoming with this info.

OR...should I be more focused on which models adopted Thunderbolt 3? IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SPEED MAN ...and I looking to buy a used MBPro that poses somewhat of a rival to the latest 16inch models so I can have optimal video editing capability
