How do I unlock my phone to another company with the IMEI number

iPhone 7, iOS 12

Only the carrier the phone is locked to can unlock it.

You would need to follow their instructions. To get your IMEI number, go to Settings>General>About and one of the lines will say IMEI. You can tap and hold to copy.
