Please help. If after the scavenger hunt leads to a place where it would seem you can control ad tracking as an example, the setting is "greyed" out. This is ridiculous. Piracy in fact.

Thank you! As for scavenger hunt I felt like everytime I got close to the place to change things I would land on the same page education me as to what ie location services were.
I'm knew to Mac and the learning curve is not what I thought it would be. I truly appreciate your help~~it was all about that lock.

Oh! If your Mac is new, you ought to avail yourself of Apple's complimentary telephone or chat assistance. It's a service they include in the price of a new Mac.
If you didn't get an email about it, Contact Support and ask.
Even if you have nothing to ask, they'll be happy to introduce some feature they happen to enjoy talking about.
