new songs downloaded are not authorizing, tried all apple suggested tips

I have tried all apple suggested tips, but my itunes will not play new purchased songs saying they are not authorized. as soon as I authorize another prompt will pop up saying it isn't authorized.

cant authorize songs on itunes I have tried numerous times to authorize purchased songs on itunes to play on my computer. Most will play but there are a number of them I cannot get to authorize. It just keeps saying I need to authorize.. What can I do?

yes I followed both those guides. I deleted the re-downloaded the song in question, things appear to be working now. All my other purchases work fine, I'm guess the song had an issue downloading and authorizing the first time
