Airpods are not showing current or past location on FindMy. When I open FindMy, I can see all my devices, but my Airpods do not even have an entry. Help, please?

Hi,

My lost Airpods are not showing a current or past location on FindMy. When I open FindMy, I can see all my devices, but my Airpods do not even have an entry. All other devices are listed, even ones that have been offline for a year+. I’ve been using these Airpods, with this phone, with FindMy, for a year+.

How or why, and help?

I’ll try iCloud from my Mac later this morning, but if they aren’t showing from my Iphone - not sure that the Mac will be any better.

How or why would they not be listed?

If they were stolen and paired with a new device, would that erase / remove the entry from my Find My account?

If they’re only lost - any suggestions?

Thank you, Carrie

Hello,

If your AirPods are out of Bluetooth range, out of charge, or in the case with the cover closed they won't appear in Find My. You just have to find them manually by looking for them.

See this for more detail:

If your AirPods are lost

Good luck.
