Quicktime Image Sequence skips images!

I'm using QuickTime 7 Pro. I want to collect ~200 images (JPGs) into a single video .mov file. I do "Open Image Sequence" and select an image in a folder of images, and it makes a video, but it's only using a few of them - clearly skipping like 90%. What am I missing?

Try to rename the images with a very simple number-only format (01.jpg, 02.jpg etc or something like that). Image sequence seems to be very picky about this.
