2009 mac pro help

I recently have gotten a 2009 mac pro that had no hard drive inside of it. When I try to install snow leopard from the physical recovery disk it will not load and the disk drive will make a loud click. I have tried 3 disk drives and all have done the same thing. Any Advise or any help is appreciated.

Scrounge another Mac Pro from that same era, some wood or metal, and make yourself an end-table or a bench? (Apparently we can’t post links to Pinterest here, but there’s a nice collection of furniture built from old Mac pro boxes over there.)

Run diagnostics?

With that vintage and that noise, you’re probably headed for replacement hard disks.
