Missing Mailboxes in Mail
I am on Mac Catalina and can't find my previous mailboxes used to save important messages. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Make sure that your email account is properly set up in System Preferences > Internet Accounts.
If you've been using Time Machine to backup your computer, then you may be able to recover your missing mailboxes from the TM backup drive. Here's a link that may be helpful:
Restore mailboxes and their content in Mail on Mac - Apple Support
I was trying to use Time Machine and it couldn't see the boxes either. I chatted with Apple support and found the answer. "On my Mac" in mail has an option the "hide" or "unhide". All the boxes were hidden. I simply unhid them and they are all back.
Thanks for the reply.
Very good. Glad to know you figured it out.
Good work!
On my computer, there is no “on my Mac” option now. All of my previous mailboxes on my Mac have disappeared. When I tried to find them in library, they are only blank pages.
Help!
I tried this, and both programs closed as soon as they were opened.
Might start a new topic to get the most helpers in on it, appears your problem is different. :)
