How can I still find a AirPod when it’s dead

I lost my left AirPods on Sunday night but I didn’t realize it until Monday morning But when I try doing find my AirPods it says both of them are here but my left AirPod is probably dead or not there. When I try pressing the left button to hear the sound it won’t let me. I have try refreshing it and trying YouTube anything to figure out how to find the missing AirPod and I don’t have any luck so I’m not sure what to do

Hello,

If your AirPods are out of Bluetooth range, out of charge, or in the case with the cover closed they won't appear in Find My. You just have to find them manually by looking for them.

See this for more detail:

If your AirPods are lost

Good luck.
