Germini Man not Compatible in AppleTV+

I purchased Will Smith’s new movie Gemini Man on ITunes a couple of days ago and sat down tonight to watch it on my new 82” 4K Samsung through the New AppleTV+ App where I watch all my Apple Content. This message comes up “Content Unavailable - This type of content is not currently compatibility on your device. To play, try again using an Apple device or iTunes. Now here’s the joke. Both iTunes and AppleTV+ are same accounts in same country. Now where does it say only available on Apple Device..... and the clinche my new TV can’t play it but by Gen 2 1080p Apple TV would. Someone at Apple has been leaving too much to AI and not checking the basic fundamental of a service is not working correctly. I await to hear how this is going to work in New Zealand on my TV as opposed to my few year old Apple TV.

Please differentiate between the Apple TV app and the Apple TV+ service (which is one of the services in the Apple TV app). Doing so will help you get better support. iTunes Store movies are not related to Apple TV+ in any way.

The Apple TV app on Samsung models that support that app should not have restrictions on content type for iTunes Store movies. You shouldn’t get this error message for iTunes Store movies.

Do contact the Apple Support staff for assistance, if this persists.

Is this exclusive to this one title? Do other iTunes Store movies play correctly?
