Updating Payment Info

I'm trying to update my payment info for icloud in the iTunes store however it won't accept post code information. I'm in Ireland and keep getting the following error "postcode may be empty, or for Dublin, please enter a one or two digit code, or a digit followed by a letter."


I've tried entering my Eircode, entering D4, D10 etc, leaving it blank, entering NA, 0000, 1234 but nothing is working.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.12

It's possible that this may be due to a mismatch between the payment details being entered for your Apple ID record, compared to the details entered with your payment method record (i.e. your credit card company's records). Please confirm you are entering the correct information when updating your payment details for your Apple ID: Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods - Apple Support.
