Why can't I log in to my Apple ID?

For some unknown reason I can't log in to my Apple ID on my iPhone or PC using the iTunes app. I haven't done anything with my account, my iPhone is running the latest software and the Apple servers seem to be ok. But it still doesn't work. Please help!
