Not true, batteries burn out when left on the charger. Recommended to charge your phone battery when it reaches 20% and to take it off the charger when it is approaching 95%.
Put it on a charger while you sleep.
You can't overcharge it.
what about "optimised battery charging"
There are no regulators in the phones themselves. However for your sake I’ll play along. If phone have these “special circuits” in them, why do the batteries swell after being left on the charger on 100%?
i am asking about fast charging. Not the ordinary 5w that comes included the box .

A lithium ion battery can not be overcharged. Special circuits in an iPhone prevent it.
They were defective.
Any battery ever built has the ability to swell and rupture. It doesn’t matter if it is a lead acid, NiCd, Alkaline, Lithium. This can and does happen irregardless of being charged or not.
