Repairs and internal damage
can i send my iphone to apple to maybe get it checked for any internal damages or does there have to be something wrong with it to send it to apple in the first place?

Why would you send it for repair unless you had reason to believe there was something wrong? If it works fine, there's no need to send it anywhere.
