I was recently on a Group FaceTime call with my friends and I was curious how long it lasted after everyone hung up. I’ve seen answers explaining to click the blue “i” Icon in the call history, but that just lists the people that were in the call. How can I see the duration of the call?

I see that you're unable to see the call duration for a Group FaceTime call. I understand your concern, I'd be happy to help.
You should be able to see this information in the Phone app under the "i", like you stated. If you're not able to see this information, force close the Phone and FaceTime app, and then restart your device. Once your iPhone starts up again, check to see if you can see the call duration.

i have have this problem too where i can’t see a group facetime call duration, even if i click the “i” button. resetting the phone and force closing the app doesn’t work too
Sorry I tried that and it wasn’t helpful. The same thing was happening to me and some people ik too.
