trouble updating apps

Every time I try to update my apps it won't let me and tells me to sign in to my mom's Apple ID even though I have my own Apple ID which I'm signed into.

iPhone 8, iOS 13

If the apps were downloaded using your mom's Apple ID, you need her ID and password to update them. You can delete the apps and download them using your Apple ID or you can ask your mom to set up Family Sharing so you can share purchases.
