Free Apple TV+ subscription content

Why is there nothing on TV+ app that tells you which content comes free of charge when you buy an Apple product? I've rented a movie expecting it to be free of charge even though I had to insert my payment details to activate to APP, but I was charged. I've been searching to find what is free and what isn't but can't find it.

I’m sorry it’s all very confusing. Nobody gets how it works.

Your subscription is for Apple TV +

Apple TV + is Apple Original content. It’s a channel found within the Apple TV App. The shows included in your subscription will have the tv+ logo on them - those are free.

Thank you. I realise Apple TV has been around for a long time. Apple TV+ has not, nor has the 1 year free subscription. Since buying a new iPhone and activating the free subscription, my original question is, where does the information state where to find the free content. Apple tells you little about most things and have found I need to google about any issue I have, but I would think once Apple offered free yearly subscription they would in turn distinguish the free content from the paid content. I’ve been charged for renting a movie when I wasn’t informed any different from when I watched Morning Wars which is free

I should mention there are some other free shows in it (the Apple TV App) not Apple originals. I found some under “Streaming for free”. You kind of have to scroll around to find them, if they ask you to buy or rent then obviously not those. Some require you to install another app, or it might be a free app you already installed.

other than that there’s this page of what’s in your subscription I added to my last post in case you missed that
