Try resetting the printer system as described in this Apple document: If you can't print from your Mac or iOS device - Apple Support

The Pro 100 is supported in Apple's AirPrint when networked. The 100S model is not shown in the AirPrint list of printers, but that does not mean it is not supported. Same instructions as Old Toad provided, and choose AirPrint instead of the Canon drivers.
The preceding may or may not resolve your duplex printing requirement, after you have verified that the two-sided option is selected in the print panel.
