my isight camera does not work on my iMac desktop OSX 10.15.2 Catalina

Hi All as title since installing OSX Catalina 10.15.2 my built in isight Camera has stopped working .. if I click on iPhoto the screen pops up but is black and there is no light showing next to the iSight camera .. I've googled for a fix but really dont know anything about a SMC Reset, PRAM/NVRAM, or how to access them on my iMac .. apologies for not being PC savvy but any help to resolve this issue would be welcome .. thanks in advance regards Antz

If Catalina has Photo Booth, open that, does that show the Camera working?

googled run diagnostics check followed instruction shows a camera error NDC 001 clicked on link now trying to connect to Apple 10+ minutes with a spinning disc here is the full link that the iMac is trying to connect to lfile:///system/installation/CDIS/masOS%20Utilities.app/Contents/Resources/en_GB.Iproj/AppleDiagnostics.html?serialnumber=C02LCK60F8J2&refcodes=NDC001&language=en&version=1.0.40v5

I've re-installed a Fresh copy of Catalina 10.15.2 same issue Camera not working so I and tried your SMC fix still the same issue iSight camera not working .. could it be a hardware issue ?
