I still can't download an app after family sharing approval has been given

Im still unable to download apps even with family sharing. I’m the main account keeper but when others try to download app they get message saying app can’t be downloaded I enabled family sharing on my phone. My family members are included and I enabled purchases, however for all apps they want to download they get a message saying the app is not available for download because it was purchased using different Apple ID.

Family sharing-Ask to purchase not working Looks like there was a thread regarding this question from years ago that no one ever answered. I have family sharing for my daughter's phone and I am supposed to get some sort of message when she "asks to purchase" something, but I receive nothing. We cannot proceed with actually downloading apps as a result unless I turn off the family sharing (which I'm not willing to do). Is there a solution to this?

How to approve app downloads on a family sharing account? How to approve app downloads on a family sharing account. I am the organizer but when she sends the request I don’t get it & therefore she can not download any new apps. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Ask the kid to sign out of iCloud and back in to see if that helps.

On the kid device you get nothing. Meaning the app store still shows "GET" and if you click it again it say it will send a message requesting permission. Then then my device gets another message to approve or deny the request for download. I click approve and nothing happens. Cycle just repeats.
