disable shared albums in settings and reenable

If I disable shared albums in settings and turn it on later, will my shared albums reappear? If I disable it on my iPhone, will the shared albums also disappear on my Mac and other devices?

When you disable the shared albums on on one device, they will remain enabled on your other devices.

The shared albums will reappear, when you enable them again, but it may take a long time. occasionally I had tow ait several days, until all photos had been downloaded again from iCloud. And you will get only the photos back, that are still in iCloud. Photos and albums, that have been deleted by the owner, will not reappear, after you enable the Shared albums again.
