STOCK Function Not Returning Current Price

I have a cell with this function:

Stock,"TSLA","price"

It's returning the previous closing price and not the current price. Of all the functions available to me in this cell, all are working normally except "price" (Open, High, Low, etc).

Do you see this as well?

Apple gets the stock data from Yahoo Finance.

Sometime after the STOCK function was added to Numbers, Yahoo underwent an ownership change.

The new owners changed what data they would supply from 'more or less current' to 'previous day's close.'

Any change to this is in the hands of Apple and Yahoo Finance, and beyond the scope of these user to user communities.

You can make a request to Apple via the Feedback channel. Closest portal is the Provide Numbers Feedback item in the Numbers menu.

Barry
