I am trying to legally export iphones to Latin America , and most Custom agencies in each of tej countries i am trying to export yo is asking me for a certificate if origin of the iphone products
This is an iPhone user to user forum. Unless someone with experience in this area sees this, it will be difficult for most of us the help you. I would suggest contacting the customs service to find out what they would require and how you can get the information they need.
iPhones are manufactured in China. You may need to contact Apple for help with this.
I thank you very much for your prompt reply. I think that what customs requires is a formal Certificate stating where the item was originally manufactured . Here in the States for example we use CBP ( Customs Border Protection) Form 434.
I do not know what specific document that customs might need but I wonder if a purchase receipt would work for them. That would show where the phone was purchased. And, just out of curiosity, where are you getting these phones from?
