Itunes could not connect to this iphone, you do not have permisison

Ive just purchased a new iPhone 11 and I am trying to do my backup, why does it keep saying I dont have permission. My Mac has been able to connect to my old iphone 6 with no problems but for some reason it doesnt like my new iphone 11. Please help me!

I do not have permission to sync new iphone to iTunes I have the latest version of iTunes according to my mac (12.6) and a new iPhone 13 mini but every time I ask it to trust this computer and put my passcode in it says I don't have permission to do so. What steps can I try besides updating my mac software? I've tried turning both phone and computer off then on again, putting the cable in both USB slots, swapping my USB cable (which are both apple) and putting this in both USB slots, disabling/enabling content and privacy. I don't know what else I can try besides maybe uninstalling/installing iTunes which I may not have space for on this mac. Could it be that I need to update my itunes to 12.8 which I don't have the space for on here. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Migrating iPad 2 content to iPad 8? My old iPad 2 (iOS 9.3.5) was ripe for a replacement so I purchased a new iPad 8 gen (iOS 14.7.1). In order to transfer the apps, data, photos and all, I backed up the old device to a mac mini (mid-2010, OSX 10.9.5 with iTunes (12.6.2.20). No issues there. However, the restore to the new iPad failed with the following message: iTunes could not connect to this iPad. You do not have permission. Could someone explain to me please how to set the proper permissions to accomplish the restoration task?

Do you have the latest iTunes version installed?

You'll need at least iTunes 12.8.2.3, to be able to sync to an iPhone running iOS 13.
