Error (com.apple.mobilephone error 1035.) & Visual Voicemail errors

Hi there. Back in November 2019 I traded in my iPhone X to iPhone 11 pro. Since then, my visual voicemail is up but does not connect any recent missed voicemails. My AT&T voicemail is set up, I've tried resetting network settings and I've disconnected wi-fi so it could connect better to carrier setting and NONE of this has worked. I'm so frustrated because I'm missing important voicemails and absolutely nothing seems to work. I've tried setting up a personal greeting with the voicemail as well and the error code above keeps popping up. I've never had this issue with previous iphone trade-ins/upgrades.

Hello adc2020,

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are having an issue with voicemail on your new iPhone. To help with this, please make sure you have followed the steps in the section titled "Get help with Visual Voicemail" from this Apple resource, including contacting AT&T about this issue:

Set up Visual Voicemail on your iPhone

Cheers!

the visual voicemail is already set up on the phone and a standard voicemail with AT&T is set up on the phone. I’ve already tried all of those steps yet the visual voicemail is not accepting or displaying any new voicemails and I have to physically call my own number and enter a password everyday to make sure I’m not missing any important voicemails. I haven’t been able to receive voicemails on my physical phone since November and apparently no one knows how to fix this.
