Family Sharing

I have family sharing on my phone and I have had my brother on it for years now. I tried to add my dad and it’s showing as though he’s on the plan and everything is good but when he clicks onto Apple Music it wants him to subscribe to his own plan. What am I missing. It was so simple when I did it a couple years ago with my brother.

Hi there! Make sure that your father is signed in to the correct Apple ID. As well as make sure you have your purchases setup to share. Here is a great article that helps: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201085

Any other troubleshooting? These are all very obvious statements and are not helpful. My brother is not paying for Apple Music. He is on my family sharing plan. Which I’ve already stated. I’m not concerned about what my brother has I’m trying to find out why my dad is showing as a member on my family sharing yet is unable to use Apple Music. It keeps asking him to buy his own plan when he tries to access Apple Music.
