How do i upgrade an iMac running High Sierra to Catalina, by using another mac with internet access? The iMac to be upgraded has very poor internet access speed, that is why I was thinking maybe I can download the installer from another Mac and save it into a flash drive then install to the iMac. Basically you need a Mac that can run Catalina, download the "Install macOS Catalina" file to it, quit the installer once it starts, copy the file to the flash drive, then copy the file from the flash drive to the Mac in question.
That would work. You just need a flash drive over 8GB to copy the installer.
