I launched update in object, iMac downloaded it, and started installation.
The issue is that now the system is stuck since more than 1 hour with the attached screen.
What am I supposed to do now ?
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

You might want to try this link and using an Ethernet cable if you are not doing so.
Running similar iMac as yours Late iMac 2012 with 1 TB Rotational HD. From start to finish took about 60 minutes and total of 7 Reboots. After the 5th reboot there was a EFI Boot ROM update included in 10.15.3. So, am saying give it some more time to sort itself out
