Do you still have only the 5GB of free storage? Could you have inadvertently stored other thing on iCloud. You can check your storage: https://support.apple.com/guide/icloud/check-your-storage-usage-mm6e5a441fc7/1.0/icloud/1.0 Maybe you need to upgrade your storage: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201318
