How do I download the Apple TV app to my MacBook Pro? I don't see anyplace to do it on the Apple site.

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.13

You need to upgrade to macOS 10.15 (Catalina) to get the Apple TV app. It's built-in to the OS so you don't need to download it separately. You can search for macOS Catalina in the Mac App Store to get the upgrade.


Make sure your Mac is compatible (for the MacBook Pro, it must be a Mid 2012 model or newer): https://www.apple.com/macos/how-to-upgrade/#hardware-requirements


If you cannot upgrade, then you can use the TV Shows / Movies tab in the iTunes app, as you won't have the standalone Apple TV app.
