Iphone 4 is painfully slow , why why and why? ?

bought the iPhone 4 and heard a lot of the rumors, however still reckoning it is just some exceptional cases.

I made a comparison wiht my 3GS in terms of the speed of the two phones.
The same wifi network, the two phones are next to each other, i am not touching anything on the iPhone 4 which is put on a wooden table, except for the screen.
1. mapping service
I type in the same place name and press search on iPhone 4 first, and then 3gs, it is 3gs that displays the map first;
2. weather is the same thing. when 3gs is ready for one minute, my iPhone 4 is still "updating", crazy and outrageous;
3. App store
I started downloading one app from iPhone 4 first, 60% of the cases, when the app is ready for use on 3GS, the iphone4 is still waiting to download the app;
4.try youtube too.
I finished watching the clip on 3gs, iPhone 4 is still downloading the clip.
5. make a phone call with the new iphone 4 or two, but did not find big problem with the signal, but the volume is small.

anybody having the similar problem? or did you ever put your iPhone4 together with your 3gs and make a comparison?

the worst thing is that I bought one 32G, and a 16G is on the way.

Yes, I would schedule a visit to Regent Street's Apple Store Genius Bar for some quick testing and advice.

Before that you might want to try rebooting your router and/or disabling 802.11 b, leaving only g broadcasting. That solved my home connection problems between my iPhone 3G and my Netgear DG834G (connection was very slow and dropping every couple of minutes). Funny enough my iPhone 2G never had any problems connecting to the same Netgear, be it in b/g or just g .

after trying 3g without turning wifi on, I found iPhone 4 is faster than 3gs; unfortunately, with wifi only, iPhone 4 is still slower, significantly, than my 3gs. This is very weird! is iPhone 4 using different connection hardware for 3g and wifi? have to follow the suggestion by the previous speaker to check it out in a store. thx a lot, guys.
